Datest will exhibit at the Northwest Electronics Design and Manufacturing Expo (NEDME, a.k.a. OctoberBest), scheduled to take place Wednesday, October 2, 2019 at Tektronix in Beaverton, Oregon, from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m. Robert Boguski and Regina Lathrop from Datest will discuss the company’s testing, engineering, imaging, and analytical services, including:
- 3D and CT-Scan X-ray/Failure Analysis Service
- Volume Graphics VG Studio MAX 3.0 Image Analysis Software
- Bonepile Rehabilitation Services
- Improved and enhanced flying probe test development services
- Improved and enhanced in-circuit testing and test development services
- JTAG/Boundary Scan testing and test development services
- Reverse engineering and reconstruction services
- Reliability and lifecycle analysis
- Datest’s “ecosystem” of partner companies providing analytical laboratory services in the areas of failure analysis, root cause detection, elemental/metallurgical analysis, and materials science studies
Datest will feature their 225kV custom-made VJ Technologies advanced digital radiographic inspection imaging system, which can X-ray parts up to 110lbs at resolutions as small as 5 microns. This system provides Datest with a reliable high precision Micro Focus X-ray inspection platform for numerous failure analysis, materials science, metrology and inspection applications. High-level assistance in the form of Ph.D.-level radiographic and ASNT Level III technicians also is available on a project-by-project basis. System applications include digital radiography, volumetric comparisons, metrology, nominal/actual comparisons for additive manufacturing, and porosity analysis of castings, to name just a few of many capabilities. This high precision platform has allowed Datest to expand its X-ray and CT offerings to such diverse industries as biotech, automotive, aerospace, academia and many others.
Datest will also feature its newest acquisition, a 160kV ValuCT CT scanning system from VJ Technologies. This system is suitable for rapid inspection and defect screening of smaller parts, to a resolution of 50 microns. The ValuCT is Datest’s fourth X-ray system, and further cements Datest’s reputation as the source for rapid inspection of critical components and parts.
