American Standard Circuits has achieved its AS9100 Rev C Certification. AS9100 is the internationally recognized quality management system standard specific to the aerospace, aviation and defense industries. This standard is strongly supported and adhered to by major aerospace OEMs and is being required by vendors within the supply chain on an increasing basis.
This certification strengthens ASC's competitive position and standardizes quality, reliability and safety processes across its aerospace programs. AS9100 is managed by the International Aerospace Quality Group (IAQG) and is based on the ISO 9001 quality management standard, with 80 additional requirements and 18 amplifications specific to aerospace business operations. In addition to the AS9100 certification, American Standard Circuits holds ISO 9001, MIL 31032 and ITAR accreditations.
“Earning the AS9100 certification reflects ASC's commitment to meeting and exceeding the increasingly stringent industry requirements for aerospace related products. It also assures our manufacturing processes consistently meet the requirements and expectations of customer’s presenting the most challenging applications. It further enforces our commitment to always being there for our customers and exemplifies our team’s commitment to achieving the certification. This is a critical milestone in our quality journey, something that hopefully not just our aerospace customers but all of our customers will benefit from,” said Anaya Vardya, CEO.
