Ventec Expands USA Operations with New Equipment for High Reliability & Mil/Aero Applications
December 21, 2015 | VentecEstimated reading time: 1 minute
Ventec International Group, a world leader in the production of polyimide & high reliability epoxy laminates and prepregs, is expanding its United States operational capability by investing in new prepreg manufacturing equipment.
In order to capture growth opportunities in the markets it serves with a focus on high reliability, military and aerospace applications, two Pasquato TE 15 prepreg slitter/sheeters are being added to the Fullerton, California facility. This is the latest step in a phased and strategic investment plan for the USA service centers, and mirrors the equipment Ventec have in their AS9100C accredited UK service center.
The investment follows the purchase of two Yow Shi Diamond blade saws and the opening of a brand new purpose-built and strategically located regional distribution center in Fremont, CA in phase 1.
Jack Pattie, President of Ventec USA comments: 'Demand for high reliability, military and aerospace applications in the USA is undergoing strong growth and our decision to constantly invest in the expansion of production apability will help us achieve our objective of maintaining business growth and increasing our market share in the region.'
