MicroCare Presents Sustainable Cleaning Solutions at productronica
September 18, 2019 | MicroCare CorporationEstimated reading time: 3 minutes
MicroCare Europe BVBA will exhibit its range of sustainable cleaning solutions at productronica in Munich, Germany from 12–15 November 2019. A highlight will be the company’s innovative Tergo family of cleaning products which boasts impressive ‘green’ credentials.
As manufacturers become increasingly aware of the importance to find sustainable practices, MicroCare will present its highly-advanced cleaning products which have been developed to not only clean effectively but in an economically and environmentally sound way.
“When it comes to selecting cleaning solutions, we are seeing a change to the approach in which the electronics industry is choosing their cleaning processes,” said Scott Wells, general manager, MicroCare Europe.
“A very important consideration is its sustainability. Cleaning processes must minimise any negative environmental impact, whilst also conserving resources like energy. At the same time, it has to clean effectively. This is particularly important as electronic components become smaller and more intricate.
“Another significant factor is ensuring the safety of the workers. The Tergo product range upholds regulatory compliances with excellent toxicity profiles, making them safer for the environment and people. During Productronica we will introduce visitors to the Tergo product range including tergo high performance flux remover which is having a very positive effect on long-term sustainable cleaning for companies around the world.
“At MicroCare we realise just how important sustainable manufacturing is and how it is becoming an integral part of how products are produced. Productronica will be the ideal platform in which to present the Tergo product range and showcase how these cleaning solutions can help in the operational goal of sustainability.”
Tergo high performance flux remover is a non-flammable fluid engineered for cleaning PCBs in vapour degreasers. It features a non-volatile additive specifically developed to clean challenging high-temperature solder pastes and flux residues, stubborn white residues and water-soluble (OA) fluxes. Tergo high performance flux remover is a drop-in replacement for many older legacy chemistries that are being phased-out under environmental, health, safety or economic pressures. It also makes it an excellent replacement for power-hungry aqueous cleaning machines, therefore helping to conserve natural resources.
MicroCare will also exhibit Tergo chlorine-free cleaning fluid, a highly advanced non-flammable cleaner, which contains no harmful chlorine-containing elements. This ensures it is within strict regulatory and environmental boundaries.
It is an effective degreaser offering comprehensive and reliable cleaning of the most challenging contamination including complex shapes and delicate substrates.
As regulatory demands change, and environmental concerns grow, finding a cleaning solution for complex electronic components can be challenging. Tergo chlorine-free cleaning fluid is helping to answer these requirements and improving manufacturing processes.
