Zuken USA, Inc, is now accepting abstracts for Zuken Innovation World Americas (ZIW) 2020, to be held on April 27-30 in Coronado, California. The annual event includes two days of technical classes, a one-day exhibition, and new this year, a half day of hands-on training. The event will return to the Coronado Island Marriott Resort & Spa, a participant favorite.

Zuken’s recent acquisition of Vitech Corporation, a leader in Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) tools and methodologies, brings new products and expertise to ZIW. A new Digital Engineering track will showcase Vitech technology and MBSE. This new track will appeal to systems engineers and corporations looking to adopt MBSE design methods.

Abstracts are now being accepted for 45-minute technical presentations. The program consists of three tracks focused on the following areas:

  • Digital Engineering initiatives and best practices including model-based design and the digital thread
  • Board-based system design that includes architecture optimization, SI/PI/EMC, ECAD/MCAD co-design and IC packaging
  • Electrical-based system design including wire harness and panel for the transportation, power, special vehicles, aerospace and defense industries.

Presentations must be noncommercial in nature and should focus on technology, techniques or methodology. Case studies, how-to information and usage tips are favored and individual or team presentations are welcome.

Abstracts of 300 words, along with speaker biographies should be submitted to Zuken by November 15, 2019. For additional details and deadline information, visit the ZIW Speakers’ Corner.

Education and Innovation

The annual conference offers participants choices from 3 tracks and more than 40 technical classes including Zuken University classes showcasing how-to and best practices for current and upcoming product releases. By adding a half day this year, the agenda expands to include hands-on training and additional time for networking meetings. Zuken’s Expert Bar provides one-on-one appointments with Zuken’s technical experts. The one-day Technology Showcase puts our partners’ innovative solutions front and center in a relaxed, interactive environment that encourages networking.
