Words of Advice: Streamlining Your Design Process

Reading time ( words)

In a recent Design007 Survey, we asked the following question: What would help you streamline your design process? Here are just a few of the answers, edited slightly for clarity.

Scott Decker, Collins Aerospace: A process that’s been defined and used. We don’t need no stinking process…YES we do!

Jon Ashton, Vergent Products: Easier DFM rule setup for checks, and easier design rule setup for layout. Manufacturer data sheets should use package details that are orientated correctly.

Jose Moreira, Advantest: We need more experienced resources.
