Unimicron Swings to Profit in Q3 2018

PCB and IC substrate manufacturer Unimicron Technology swung to net profits of NT$982 million ($31.8 million) in the third quarter of 2018, from losses in the prior quarter and a year earlier, according to Digitimes. Net income for the first three quarters of 2018 came to NT$952 million.
Unimicron posted consolidated revenues of NT$21.39 billion for the third quarter, hitting a record high. The company attributed the positive performance to rising sales of its high-end HDI PCBs and IC substrates.
