Sparton DeLeon Springs Achieves AS9100:2016 Certification

Sparton Corporation announced that its DeLeon Springs, FL facility achieved the AS9100:2016 certification. The AS9100:2016 certification recognizes Sparton’s ongoing commitment to continual improvement in meeting and exceeding industry requirements for the civil and defense markets.
AS9100 is the international management system standard for the aerospace and defense industries. Based on the ISO 9001 certification, this standard was developed to recognize reliable vendors for the industry and promotes quality, safety, and continuous product and process improvement.
Sparton DeLeon Springs, LLC, a leader in the design, development, and manufacture of sonobuoy systems for the U.S. Navy, is at the forefront of technologies that align with the Defense Department’s Undersea and Ground Warfare Technology roadmaps. Sparton’s nearly 200,000 sq. ft. DeLeon Springs facility is uniquely qualified to handle projects for the Defense Department and prime contractors in the design and manufacturing of engineered products.
