Rockwell Collins at I/ITSEC 2017: Enabling Readiness Without Boundaries

At I/ITSEC 2017, Rockwell Collins (Booth 2201) will showcase its suite of simulation and training solutions that are enabling customers to securely and effectively train in live, virtual and blended environments. During the show, Rockwell Collins will be participating in all five blocks of I/ITSEC’s Operation Blended Warrior networked training exercise and will be the only participant featuring a live flight.
“By providing scalable, immersive and seamless environments across the training spectrum, a new level of mission readiness can be reached,” said Nick Gibbs, vice president and general manager of Simulation & Training Solutions for Rockwell Collins. “We’re continuing to change what’s possible in integrated training environments while reducing boundaries, so warfighters are more prepared for what they’ll see on the battlefield.”
Highlights for Rockwell Collins at I/ITSEC include:
- A full lineup of demonstrations that show advancements in training effectiveness, Live, Virtual, Constructive (LVC) training, augmented reality and image generation.
- Announcing contract awards to enhance F-16 training programs in two countries
- Strategic collaboration to develop Live, Virtual, Constructive-enabled training solutions to improve mission readiness
- Continuing to expand the visual realm with helmet mounted display upgrades for an existing U.S. Army collective training system
