Insulectro, the largest distributor of materials for use in printed circuit boards and printed electronics, has just added popular constructions of DuPont’s flexible laminates to its PumaFast stocking inventories. Effective immediately, certain Pyralux materials will be integrated into Insulectro’s new stocking program that ensures frequently used materials are readily available to fabricators.
Announced last month, the PumaFast program stocks the Heart of the Range laminates and prepregs based on customer demands. The added DuPont materials include Pyralux AP, Pyralux LF, Pyralux FR, and DuPont Interra HK04J.

Insulectro Vice President of Sales and Product Management Ken Parent stated, “Since the launch early February of our PumaFast™ program, we have increased the levels of laminates and prepregs in our inventory based on customer responses to our program.”
Michelle Walsh, Director of Product Management – DuPont Materials, commented, “We listen to our customers and understand their challenges - when they need materials, they need them quick. Through PumaFast, Insulectro pledges to maintain reserves of the most popular laminates. We are excited to add Pyralux® flexible laminates to our list.”
Parent concluded, “Insulectro continues to work with the PCB Fabricators, Designers and OEM’s through our ACT! program to educate the market on material specifications and availability.”
In addition to the DuPont Pyralux additions, other stocked PumaFast materials include various thicknesses and constructions of 370HR, 185HR, 408HR and high-speed prepreg. In addition, Isola’s high speed digital laminates – I-Tera MT40, Tachyon 100G, Astra, and I-Speed® are also stocked in the program.
